By Car from Denver
- From Denver International Airport (DIA) to Old Baldy via car 3.5- 4 hours
- Exit airport to Pena Blvd.
- Go North on E-470 from Pena Blvd to I-25;
- Go north on I-25 North to Fort Collins. (E-470 is a toll road, they will bill you via US Mail.)
- Continue on I-25 for Interstate Route
- Continue on I-25 to Cheyenne then take I-80 West.
- Exit at the Walcott / Saratoga (About 2 hours from Ft. Collins)
- Turn left (south) on Hwy 130/230. (About 20 min to Saratoga)
- Once in Saratoga turn east at the Hotel Wolf, you will be on Bridge Street, take first right after going over the bridge, follow road around curve and over the railroad tracks.
- You will pass the Saratoga Inn and travel about 1mile.
- Old Baldy will be on your right.
- Or go the back road to Laramie
- Exit I-25 at Owl Canyon Road, go west (left). Continue to T intersection, and turn left.
- Continue to intersection with Hwy 287 to Laramie. Turn right and continue on Hwy 287 to the turn off for I-80 west which is about 35 miles.
Scenic Drive over Mountains
- EXIT I-80 west to the Snowy Range Road exit and turn left at the light.
- After about a mile turn right toward Centennial on Hwy130, also called the Snowy Range Road.
- You will be on this road through the town of Centennial, over the pass and down out of the mountains. (About 75 miles)
- Turn right at the stop sign to Saratoga. (About 8 miles), see Directions re Saratoga above.
By Car from Laramie
- Exit the airport and turn left onto Hwy 130, also called Snowy Range Road.
- Follow the directions above for scenic drive.
Fly into Saratoga
- Land at Shiveley Field with its Unicom, lighted taxiway and 8,800 foot runway at 6,900 ft elevation.
