Experience the best fishing the Upper North Platte Valley has to offer as you float the North Platte or Encampment Rivers. We have float access to over 80 miles of floatable water. We offer both full and half day fishing floats and can adjust departure times to fit your schedule. A fishing float trip is the most popular way to enjoy the fishing around Saratoga. Let our guides choose the most productive stretch as they consider water levels, time of year and bug hatches. During higher flow times (usually June and early July) we head up river and float sections of the North Platte and Encampment accessible from Forest Service, BLM and State launch sites. As the water levels drop (July through October) we focus our float efforts on the lower stretches of the North Platte and utilize both public and private put-ins. The floating options offered by the Old Baldy Club’s guide service are the best in the area and are sure to keep you casting for more!
